SAND HILL REVIEW

UNSOLICITED MANUSCRIPTS WELCOME.
The SAND HILL REVIEW celebrates the release of its 10th edition in June 2008. Published annually in Stanford, CA, this privately-published literary journal has had links to Waverly Writers, based in Palo Alto since 1981, the California Writers Club (CWC), and Stanford University staff. Poetry is by invitation only.
The REVIEW welcomes fiction submissions.
Sand Hill Review seeks work of the highest literary quality and is eager to consider new fiction by both previously published and emerging voices.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF FICTION:
- Length of fiction should be 5000 words or less. Exceptions are possible.
- We do not accept personal essays, memoirs, social commentary or book reviews. Novel excerpts are acceptable if self-contained.
- Submissions by snail mail only. Please do not use certified or registered mail. Please note that we do not accept email submissions.
- Include your email address in your submission information for a quick reply.
- A self-addressed stamped envelope is required for return of material.
- Please double-space manuscripts with margins flush left. Photocopies are acceptable.
- Submissions should be mailed to: E.F. Miller, SAND HILL REVIEW, P.O. Box 20007, Stanford CA 94309.
Response time for unsolicited manuscripts ranges from
two weeks to two months.
